The Schmotzer ... specialty the slaughter bowl ... I always get half a week's ration of it ... the fresh and smoked sausages are seasoned and smoked in the traditional way. Bratwurst So without preservatives and "artificial" spice mixtures. Fried: guaranteed to be the best in the area.

Even in the lousy Cortona times you can now get delicious Franconian dishes "to go" (except for home sales). Among other things, witerhin on Sundays the enjoyment of roast pork, shovels, carp & Co. ;-) also - within the family with limited exit - secured. And the dishes - our own butcher shop - are delicious! Greetings to the kitchen / cook !! And then the friendliness of the inn stands out - what more could you want. We'll come back to pick up the dishes next Sunday at the latest!

Very good typical Franconian food. However, on nice weekends it would be helpful to bring a parking space in the trunk so that you can quickly enjoy the really good Franconian cuisine in Hagenbüchach.

Typical country inn with typical dishes. Tasty and pricey in the middle, but ok.

I ordered a Schäuferle in the inn, unfortunately the most important thing was (the rind) not crispy but lätschig. The meat was juicy but unfortunately the dumpling was overcooked. The staff was super friendly and met customer requests.

32 years ago, we had our wedding party in this inn and the food was already very good, we were very satisfied. The food has even improved. We still love to go to the "Schmotzer", and it is nice that the "Granny Schmotzer" is still a bit active in the kitchen! The service is also friendly and the food you do not have to wait too long. There is also a beer garden next to the inn!

The "Green Tree", in the village only called "Schmotzer", has been owned by the family for almost 150 years with honest Franconian cuisine, which is no longer common. The price-performance ratio is pleasingly low, here hikers like to return as well as old-established.
